Revamped B2B Ordering Portal
After dozens of conversations we rebuilt OrderEZ’s B2B portal from the ground up with the goal to drive more customers to self-service ordering and close the time from quote to order.
We’ve also worked hard to re-brand these portals so they feel like they belong to you rather than to OrderEZ with custom domains and login pages you get more control of how things look for your customers.
We hope you like it and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out and set up a call.
Don't want to read, here's a video walk through of the new feature
Public or Private password-protected B2B Portal
You now have three options of how to present your B2B portal to the world:
(1) Public - products are visible, but there are no prices displayed and when users add to the cart it directs them to request to open an account
(2) Private, Password Protected - a supplier-branded customisable login page for all your customers.
Branded Web Domains
You can also create custom supplier-branded web domains for your page.
Mobile Optimised
We rebuilt the entire B2B page so users can order from their mobile phones without having to download any apps and delivered a fresh new experience.
Magic Password Links
No more password resets or questions about how to login, any customer can input their email address and if they have an account, we’ll send them a link to sign in.
Quote to Order Flow
We rolled out quotations last year, but you could only download them as a PDF and send them via a link. Now when you create a quote you can use that same link it will take them to the B2B portal shopping cart, pre-filled with the products and prices you’ve quoted and they can simply click Order.
We think this is going to be the secret weapon to driving B2B portal adoption. These quotes will give customers a taste of the ordering portal, get them signed into it on their phone and showcase how easy it is to self-service order.
Send Catalog to Target Accounts
From the CRM we've added another action: Send Catalog. This will send the prospective customer a publicly accessible B2B portal page with their Customer Category pricing. It's only live for one week and then the URL expires. The prospect can Sign In
Revised layout
You now have the choice of whether to default to Card or List view for the products in your B2B portal. The Card view puts the pictures front and center and the Table view gives the most space for those long product names. Users can still choose to change their view, but you get to set the default for their first experience.
Previously Ordered Products
When users log in we’ve introduced a new section at the top of the products list titled “Previously Ordered Products” where the 4 most ordered products will appear along with the option to see all the previously ordered products. Great for those customers who regularly order the same things so they don’t need to go searching around. Speaking of ease of ordering, we also launched a “Reorder” button for customers so they can quickly and easily place a repeat order.
Product Tags: Visibility on B2B Portal
Last year we launched Product Tags and we know that some of you use them for internal purposes so with the launch of the new B2B Portals you can also create Tags that are specifically intended to be visible to your Customers.
Order Again on Checkout
Last but not least, we’ve added a section on the checkout page entitled “Order Again?” which lists out the products they order the most, that are not in the shopping cart to try and entice some additional ordering.
We’re looking forward to seeing how you all use these new features and if there’s anything we can do to help, please let us know!
Creating New Customer Flow Update
When adding new Customers, we've added the option to assign them to a specific Customer Category, which will automatically assign the pricing and visibility that you've set for that Category. This will auto-apply when they log into the B2B portal for the first time, and it will set the pricing for supplier-generated orders.
Draft Orders
A pre-Pending status that can be converted to an order at any time.
Auto-Accept or Decline Orders
Want all your B2B portal orders to automatically accept if you've got the stock and auto-decline if not? No problem, just let us know and we can activate it for you.
