You can set your users and roles for Suppliers in Supplier Settings. On the Supplier Settings page, click on the Users tab.

Start by entering the user's info, including name, email address and contact number. Then, click on "Roles & Permissions" to assign a role to the user. You can also manage the way the user will receive order notifications.

We created four different user roles for Suppliers:

Admin

As you might guess, the Admin can do it all. Create Users, process orders, create and edit products and prices, as well as create Customers.

Reserve this level of access to the senior leadership.

User Permission

  • Receive order notification - Toggling this on will allow you to receive notification of orders (eg. when you receive a new order).

  • Only account owner notification - Toggling this on will mean that you only receive email and in-app notifications of orders from Customers that are assigned to you (ie. you will receive notifications only for Customers where you are the account representative).

  • Receive system emails - Toggling this on will allow you to receive emails besides order notifications (eg. when you receive connection requests/price proposals etc).

Manager

The Manager Role has the potential to do everything an Admin can do, but there is a lot more choice as to how much access they have. If you choose all the "options" including User Administration, you're essentially making them an Admin.

All Managers can create new Customers, but you can choose whether or not they are able to edit Products and Prices.

This is a great fit for whoever manages your product catalogue, oversees the sales team, or manages the day-to-day of the business.

User Permission

  • Edit Product Pricing - This permission will allow the user to make changes to the product pricing (including tier pricing and special tier pricing). When switched off, the fields will be greyed out, not allowing the user to edit.

  • Edit Product - This permission will let the user edit product info, including product name, image, SKU number, category and description. When switched off, the fields will be greyed out, preventing the user from making changes.

  • User Administration - This permission will authorise the user to set up new users and edit the roles and permissions of existing users as well.

  • Allow to-do creation for other account representatives - Toggling this permission on will allow users to create to-dos and assign them to other account representatives.

  • Receive system emails - Toggling this on will allow you to receive emails besides order notifications (eg. when you receive connection requests/price proposals etc).

Fulfilment

This User Role has the option to create Customers and can edit Products and Prices. Turn off the options and they can place Orders and process Orders but cannot edit your account in any meaningful way.

This Role is perfect for the sales team, your accountant/bookkeeper, warehouse manager, and whoever processes orders.

  • Receive order notification - Toggling this on will allow you to receive notification of orders (eg. when you receive a new order).

  • Manage free venue - This permission will let the user add new Customers and edit information of existing Freemium Customers. When switched off, the user will receive an error message when trying to work on the tasks.

Delivery

Good for the team that really just needs to know what’s happening, think “Read-only”.

These users can also "Confirm Delivery" of an order from the mobile app.

User Permission

  • Receive order notification - Toggling this on will allow you to receive notification of orders (eg. when you receive a new order).

  • Receive system emails - Toggling this on will allow you to receive emails besides order notifications (eg. when you receive connection requests/price proposals etc).

Lastly, you can also set the way you want the users to receive order notification by changing the toggles on the Order Notifications tab. Once ready, click on Add User.
