tl;dr - What does it mean to "edit an order"? You can:

The Customer will receive an email notification informing them of the change.


On your laptop

Editing the quantity or price of a product

To do so, click on the "Orders" tab and open the order you want to edit. Click on "Manage Order" and "Edit" to open the order in edit mode.

Then, hover over the line item that you wish to edit, then click on the pencil icon.

You can change the order quantity or unit price of the product. You can also attach a note to the order. In this case, I am changing the order quantity to 1. and the price to $37. Once ready, click on "Save Changes".

The order will be updated with the new order quantity. The change and attached notes will also be reflected in the "History" tab of the order, as well as the user who edited the order and the time of the change.

Your Customer will also receive an email notification informing them of the change.

Adding more products to the order

To add more products to the order, open the order in edit mode, then click on "Add Product". Select the product and the quantity to add. Once you are ready, click on "Add Product". Once ready, click on "Save Changes".

The product will be added to the order. The change will also be reflected in the "History" tab.

The Customer will receive an email notification informing them of the change.

Add, Edit, or Remove Delivery Fee

To add the delivery fee, open the order in edit mode and scroll down until you see the option to Add Delivery Fee.

To edit the delivery fee, open the order in edit mode and hover over the delivery fee line. Click on the pencil icon.

The Customer will receive an email notification informing them of the change.

Editing a completed order

In addition to editing the products and delivery fee, you can also edit the delivery date of a completed order.

On OrderEZ mobile app

1. Click on the "Orders" tab at the bottom of the app, then click on the order you want to edit to open

2. Click on the ellipsis button at the top right corner of the app, then select "Edit Order Details" to open the order in edit mode

3. Similar to OrderEZ web version, you can:
(A) Add products to the order

(B) Edit the quantity and product price

(C) Edit the delivery fee

4. In this example, I am changing the quantity for Arabica Ristretto-NEW from 3 to 2 and adding a note with the change. Once ready, click on "Save Changes".

5. After you have made all the necessary changes to the order, click on "Save Changes".

6. The Customer will receive an email notification informing them of the change. The changes will also be reflected in the "History" tab.
