We are happy to announce that Suppliers are now able to integrate their Shopify stores with OrderEZ! This will allow you to integrate all your Shopify e-commerce orders and/or Shopify POS sales into OrderEZ - allowing for the most accurate metrics across your sales channels while providing real-time alignment of your inventory levels in Shopify and OrderEZ.

tl;dr - Setting Up Your Shopify Integration

(1) Connect your Shopify store via the OrderEZ settings panel and authenticate the store to create an integration between the two platforms.

(2) Set up your integration settings - OrderEZ order status.

(3) Map your Shopify locations to their corresponding warehouses on OrderEZ.

(4) Sync & map your products from OrderEZ to Shopify via our "Push Products" feature. Products from Shopify not currently in OrderEZ have to be uploaded to OrderEZ prior to mapping.

(5) You can also create a product "bundle" in Shopify and map it to multiple products of varying quantities in OrderEZ.

With this integration, you're able to sync all of your products between OrderEZ and Shopify, ensure aligned inventory, and receive all your orders automatically in OrderEZ.

Let's go ahead and get your integration set up!

Connecting to Your Shopify Store

Click on your company name on the top right corner of the page, then click on "Supplier Settings". On the Supplier Setting page, click on the Integrations tab, then click on Shopify under the "Available" section.

Hit "Connect" and enter a name for your Shopify store account to launch the integration wizard.

Configuring Your Shopify Integration

Now we're going to configure your integration by linking your Shopify account to OrderEZ.

A new window titled "Shopify Integration Benefits" will pop up. Here we will establish authentication between your Shopify store and OrderEZ.

Hit on Next --> New Authentication and on the following screen, we will have to enter your shop's subdomain.

For example, if your shop's domain is https://manualnatruals.com.myshopify.com/ then you would enter "manualnaturals"

Do not include www. / https: / or .com

Hit "Create" and another window will pop up prompting you to authorize Tray.io to connect to your Spotify store. Think of Tray as the middleman which takes the data from Shopify, and sends it to OrderEZ.

Click "Install App" to complete that process.

Choosing Your Integration Settings

The last prompt of the integration wizard allows you to select order status settings for OrderEZ based on the action in your Shopify store.

Your options are:

The OrderEZ order status will be:

Pending when an order is created in Shopify;

Pending when an order is paid in Shopify;

Accepted when an order is created in Shopify;

Accepted when an order is paid in Shopify;

Pending when an order is created in Shopify and Accepted when paid in Shopify.

You can also check the box under Order Completion for your order status to change to Completed when it is fulfilled in Shopify.

Orders will automatically get cancelled in OrderEZ when they get cancelled or refunded in Shopify.

Mapping Your Warehouse & Shopify Locations

Shopify uses “Locations” for the places where you sell, ship, stock, or fulfil orders. OrderEZ uses Warehouses for where your inventory resides. Our goal in mapping the warehouses from OrderEZ to the locations in Shopify is to ensure that the inventory levels are reported properly between the platforms.

Select the Shopify Location for the corresponding Warehouse - followed by the "Save Changes" button.

Sync Your Products Between Shopify & OrderEZ

If you do not have any products in your Shopify store, you will be presented with a screen to push all your OrderEZ products into your store. Press "Push Products" to do so.

Select the OrderEZ products you would like to push to your Shopify store.

Your products will automatically be mapped between Shopify and OrderEZ based on their matching SKUs.

The products that don’t have matching SKUs on OrderEZ have “No mapped products” in the second column, and those products can be mapped by clicking on the action button Map Products and going into the Map Products modal. The non-mapped products will not get pulled into OrderEZ.

Products that have matching SKUs on both platforms are suggested as a preselected OrderEZ Product dropdown in the Map Products modal and you simply click "Save Product".

If you want to create the products you have in Shopify, you will have to create them manually in OrderEZ as well, and then move on to the mapping exercise. You can learn how to do import your products into OrderEZ here.

You're all set up and ready to start using your Shopify integration.
