Here's how to effectively manage product pricing in OrderEZ by employing tier pricing and special tier pricing strategy.
Firstly, navigate to the product page and click on the tier pricing tab.
To edit the tier pricing or special tier pricing, click on the more option button and "Edit".
Tier Pricing
Tier pricing allows you to segment prices into several tiers by quantity and is applicable to all Customers ordering the product. Upon hitting the specific quantities, different unit price/discount rates will be applied to the order. You can set up to 3 tiers of prices.
Set Price - Set the unit price of the product for each tier. For example, when your Customer orders 5kg of Brazil Roast, each kg will be priced at $32/kg. If your customer increases the quantity to 10kg, each kg of Brazil Roast will be priced at $30/kg.
Set Discount - Set the percentage discount of product for each tier. For example, when your Customer orders 5kg of Brazil Roast, a 5% discount will be applied to each kg of Brazil Roast in the order. If your Customer increases the quantity to 10kg, a 6% discount will be applied to each kg of Brazil Roast in the order.
Special Tier Pricing
Special tier pricing allows you to set and assign different tier pricing to different Customers. It takes precedence over the generic tier pricing set above, and each Customer can only be assigned to one special tier pricing structure. You can set up to 3 tiers of prices.
Pro-tip: Where available, special tier pricing will be applied to orders from the assigned Customers, even if the normal tier pricing gives a better price.
Enter a name for the special tier price, set up either the price or discount rate and select the Customers to assign this special tier price to.
Pro-tip: You can also use this feature to set the special trade price you have with your customers! Simply enter a quantity of "1" and the special trade price with the customer, then assign it to the relevant Customers.
What will my customers see?
The set price will be reflected on the Customer's product feed, so they know the price of the product when they are ordering. Tiered pricing will also automatically be applied according to the quantity set up.
The Customer can also see the tier pricing info if they are placing orders on the mobile app.
If you prefer to set up the product prices according to Customers, you can also do so on the Customer page. Find out more here!
