Outlet reporting is about to get better so stay tuned! But for now, here's a quick note on what you can do to make the best out of it.
The question that we all ask ourselves but never know until next month..."Are we making money?".
With OrderEZ you can see how much you've purchased each month in real-time, just like your POS shows you how much revenue you have this month, this is a big number to focus on. On the Orders page, the number in the top right hand corner defaults to all suppliers this month with a status of Pending, Accepted, Scheduled for Delivery, and Completed. But you can customize that view and see total purchases by any date period, segment by Supplier, or by Order Status.
Want to dive even deeper into the data, we've got you covered. Did you know that you can export your orders from OrderEZ to a CSV file? At the Orders page, you can play around with the filters for date, supplier, and statuses, then click on "Export Orders" to export the data to a CSV file.
This is a sample screenshot of what you will see after exporting:
Why is this important, you may ask? The data shows you the different products you ordered from each Supplier, the status and the total amount spent. With this, you can carry out further analysis like:
Which Suppliers frequently have a status of "In Dispute" or "Completed with Dispute"? Do you still want to continue buying from them, considering the number of headaches and panic attacks they have caused with late or incorrect deliveries.
Which Suppliers are you spending the most money on? Perhaps it is time to see if we can get a little extra discount for being such loyal customers.
