We've been hard at work making some major updates to OrderEZ's inventory tracking, warehouse management, and stock tracking. It's been poked, prodded, tested, and tested some more.
Here's what you can expect:
More warehouses. You asked and we heard you all; expanding from the old Primary and Secondary Warehouses, we now allow for more warehouses. Want to know how many, give it a go and test it, but it'll take care of about everyone out there except for maybe Amazon, but we're gunning for you Bezos!
We love our order management but felt that our inventory management for adding, transferring and removing stock was lacking so we re-built it from the ground up and man are we happy we did. This should save a ton of time for all your logistics or finance people.
Another frequently requested feature we can now set par levels by warehouse and product and get a friendly little warning when you're past your safe number.
Every inventory item can now have a custom batch id assigned to it. We'll do a more expansive "how-to" on using this for your product recall plans, but rest assured it should do everything you need to have a robust plan in place.
Similar to batch tracking, each inventory item can now have an expiry date so that you're selling the right product to the right people and another nifty warning letting you know that it might be time to start discounting to get some stock off the shelf.
In this crazy rising cost environment, we wanted to empower our users with the best data possible and adding unique COGS for each inventory addition seemed only natural.
Advanced Fulfilment Options
Tired of only being able to sell out of one warehouse, so were we. Now with "Advanced Settings" during fulfilment you can pick which warehouse you're selling out of or which batch of products you're selling.
Stocktake
The web app version is live, but the team is hard at work getting the mobile stocktake live too. This lets you run through the warehouse, do your counts, and get a report as to variance. Goodbye excel spreadsheets or clipboards here comes stocktake from your mobile.
Over the coming days we'll be rolling out more detailed articles to fill in the gaps, but in the meantime, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out. There's always someone on the chat in the bottom right-hand corner or pick up the phone and give us a ring.
