tl;dr - Target Accounts are prospects, you haven't done business but you want to. This is where you get started. Assign To Dos, Send an Onboarding Link, Send a Quote or a Catalog and let's get this party started.

What is a Target Account?

Target Accounts are simply prospective customers. You can add them to the system by simply adding a name; nothing more is needed.

Send a Quote - Read more about Quotes.

Send a Catalog - Read more about Catalogs.

Send an Account Onboarding Form - Read more about Account Onboarding Forms.

What To Expect from a Target Account?

Target Accounts will remain in that stage of your pipeline until you:

(1) Send them an Account Onboarding Form sending them to "Pending Account Opening", or

(2) Create a Customer sending them to Account Open, Yet to Buy.

Mobile Apps Tip

We haven't launched "Create Customer" from the mobile apps yet, but you can always Send Onboarding Link to them and fill it out for them or send it to yourself and complete the onboarding form on behalf of your customer. If you add "+__anything__@domain.com" it will still go to yourself, for example jeff+targetrestaurant@orderez.co will still come to my inbox. We're working to update this and we look forward to deleting this "tip".
